Briony Penrose Masters of Education (Career Development); Cert IV in Training and Assessment; BEd (Secondary); BCI
Briony is the Assistant Training Manager and Professional Careers Practitioner with the ACCE. She joined the ACCE in 2015 after working as Event Manager for the National Career Development Week and ‘Get the life you love’ campaigns. During her previous roles she organised and managed National Forums designed to motivate high school students to actively start planning their careers, consulted and provided career advice to hundreds of students and adults at Career Expo’s across Australia, and developed her own career seminar series – ‘It’s your life – go for it!’ which was consistently the highest attended seminar on career motivation and planning at the career expos nationally.
Briony also previously worked as High School Teacher in Tasmania, delivering the Tasmania Pathway Program. Briony is especially passionate about career development theory and research and how theory underpins career counselling. She has a strong focus on lifelong learning and is dedicated to the upskilling and qualifying of careers practitioners through CEAV Institute.
